Our next concert is still in a while since we are taking a month off (april) but it's time to book tickets, there are 6 seats left available to purchase! Hurry if you want to hear the vintage 1685 with Bach's Jesu mine Freude, Scarlatti's Stabat Mater and Haendel's Dixit Dominus, it will be worth it (we hope! 🙂) This is be our debut at the prestigious Glyndebourne Opera House invited by the Brighton Festival! See you there!

Still thrilled about the BBC Music Magazine award it's therefore time to announce another great news coming from England. A new member for Vox Luminis: Alexander Chance! A lovely chap to have on tour with us but of course firstly to sing with. He joined Vox for the first time almost 2 years ago and every project ever since just made our collaboration stronger & stronger. He happens to be a crazy fan of Liverpool Football Club, but well, nobody is perfect! 😄

We are so happy to welcome you to the VL family Alex!

Another music for this easter Monday: Christ lag in Todesbanden by Samuel Scheidt. A composer we love particularly since our CD recorded in 2009 and released in 2010 for Ricercar. We had another go with some motets on our double CD released last year celebrating the 500 years of Luther's reformation on Outhere Music.
Hope you enjoy! This is definitely a lovely piece of music that we wish to perform more often!

Happy Birthday Vox 🙂 - We got 14 today - 31 march 2018 which happens to be easter Saturday. Therefore we share a extract of Gesualdo's Sabbato Sancto. "Plange quasi virgo" performed 4 years ago at the Concertgebouw Brugge for what was our first ever performance at this concert hall which became some months ago our Artist house. (It happened to be also the programme for our first concert at BOZAR MUSIC where we also started to bee artist in residence in September 2017 - funny coincidence)
Hope you enjoy! What glorious music this is. We left it on the side since then but should definitely have another shot in the coming years!
